Many years ago I sat with a small group of Christian women leaders and one of them asked, “What is one thing you love about your relationship with the Lord?” I thought and thought about that question, and then I answered, “I love watching the Lord Jesus change lives. There is just nothing so exciting as seeing lives changed by Him.” And to this day, I have to say that I just love being involved in ministry with the Lord and watching Him change someone’s life.
Paul encourages us in these words the power of discipleship and investing in the lives of others with the teachings of Jesus. It’s been said that if you give a man a fish, you’ve fed him for today. But if you teach a man to fish then you’ve fed him for a lifetime. My prayer for you today is that you will realize the amazing and incredible opportunity you have to impact others in their relationship with the Lord. I have been involved in women’s ministries for many years and have been a director of women’s ministries for more than 10 years. And I can tell you that God is stirring in the hearts of women worldwide. Women are hungry to know the Lord, and are thirsty for His Word like never before.’But many women have no idea how to spend quiet time alone with the Lord. The common question is “Where do I begin?” My passion is to see women in ministry worldwide grow in their time alone with the Lord through the many resources we provide through Quiet Time Ministries.
